Lorenzo Biferale, President and Founder of the Quindici19 Cultural Association, and Corrado Beld\u00ec, Founder and Artistic Director of NovaraJazz, will be the protagonists of “Social Impact Filmmaking \u2013 Our Way of Creating and Telling Stories”, an open event exploring the role of cinema and music as tools for social transformation.<\/p>\n
FREE ENTRY EVENT<\/strong> The event will delve into the role of cinema and music as powerful tools for social transformation, featuring two innovative cultural initiatives: Duemila30, an international short film festival dedicated to social justice, sustainability, and inclusion, and NovaraJazz, a festival that celebrates the fusion of musical genres and promotes new artistic languages.<\/p>\n From concept to production, the two guests will share their experiences in creating and managing a festival,<\/strong> recounting the challenges, unique aspects, and behind-the-scenes anecdotes of these cultural events.<\/p>\n Duemila30 is not just a short film festival;<\/strong> it\u2019s a creative lab where young directors, activists, and changemakers gather to address urgent issues such as social justice, sustainability, and inclusion. Established in 2018 at the request of the United Nations (UNRIC), the festival explores the power of cinematic storytelling as a tool for social responsibility and active participation.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Lorenzo Biferale<\/strong> holds a Ph.D. in Regional Sciences and Economic Geography. His research focuses on cultural economics and data science, with particular attention to cultural participation models and spatial inequalities.
