[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On June 3rd, SUS FUTURE<\/a> inaugurated the international exhibition “From Tradition to the Future – A Journey into Sustainable Fashion”.
\nCurated by Guoxiang Yuan, the exhibition highlights innovation and sustainability in the fashion industry, hosted in the vibrant city of Taipei.<\/p>\n

Among the talented designers selected for this prestigious exhibition are No\u00e9 Bozzini, Sahar Dadvand and Tanaka Vengere, students of the Master’s program in Fashion Design at Ferrari Fashion School. Their works, created as part of the RESTART initiative, represent a pinnacle of creativity and social commitment.<\/p>\n

The RESTART project: a collaboration for change<\/h2>\n

RESTART<\/a> was born as an ambitious project of Ferrari Fashion School in collaboration with the creative agency ACNE and Terre des Hommes, an international non-governmental organization committed to defending the rights of girls and young women. Developed during Milan Fashion Week in February 2024, RESTART addressed crucial issues such as female empowerment, the fight against violence and gender discrimination.<\/p>\n

Ferrari Fashion School students embarked on a journey of transformation, taking torn and damaged garments, collected from their peers, and giving them new life. These garments, which symbolized episodes of violence, were reinvented into unique pieces that tell stories of rebirth and resilience.<\/p>\n

Through a refined tailoring approach and inspired by the Kintsugi technique, the ancient Japanese art of repairing broken objects with gold, the designers have created garments that not only hide the scars of the past but celebrate them, transforming them into strengths. Each golden stitch is a testament to the beauty that can be born from wounds.<\/p>\n

The garments made by our students have become true symbols of renewal, icons to be worn with strength and pride. Each piece conveys a powerful and simple message: every wound can be healed, every story can start again. This philosophy is not only reflected in the garments on display but permeates the entire exhibition, inviting visitors to reflect on the power of resilience and transformation.<\/p>\n

Looking to the future<\/h2>\n

The exhibition “From Tradition to the Future – A Journey into Sustainable Fashion” represents not only an opportunity to celebrate emerging talent but also an opportunity to promote a global dialogue on sustainability and empowerment through design. The works of No\u00e9 Bozzini, Sahar Dadvand and Tanaka Vengere testify to how fashion can be a powerful tool for social change, capable of uniting beauty and meaning in a single, unforgettable message.<\/p>\n

With this exhibition, Taipei takes center stage in the global discussion on the future of fashion, welcoming innovators and visionaries who are shaping the path towards a more sustainable and just world.<\/p>\n
