These are now essential skills that every new-generation designer must acquire and, above all, put into practice.<\/p>\n<p>During the course, students will learn to select garments\u2014both from their own wardrobes and from dedicated stores\u2014to not only give them new life but also, through alterations, tailoring interventions, and especially personal creativity, enhance them, giving them a new look and added value, whether artistic, aesthetic, or design-oriented. width=&#8221;3\/4&#8243;][vc_column_text]<strong>Gilberto Calzolari<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gilberto Calzolari, a faculty member of the Fashion Design Department at Ferrari Fashion School, was born and raised in Milan, where he graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in scenography and costume design.<\/p>\n<p>After working for over 15 years as a fashion designer for some of the most prestigious international luxury brands, including Marni, Alberta Ferretti, Valentino, Miu Miu, and Giorgio Armani, Calzolari launched his own made-in-Italy sustainable pr\u00eat-\u00e0-porter brand under his name in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>He has received numerous awards, including the prestigious Franca Sozzani Green Carpet Fashion Award for Best Emerging Designer in 2018; the Monte Carlo Fashion Week Award for Best Emerging Designer in 2019 for his contributions to sustainable fashion; the C.L.A.S.S. ICON Award in 2020; and the Young Designer DHL Award in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>His collections have been showcased at Milan Fashion Week, Showcase Altaroma, The Next Trend Event, Budapest Central Europe Fashion Week, Monte Carlo Fashion Week, Expo China, White Milano, White&#8217;s WSM Fashion Reboot, and the Qingdao International Fashion Industries Alliance Festival.<\/p>\n<p>He has also participated in exhibitions such as \u201cFashion_Revolution_Italia\u201d (2022) and \u201cFashion to Reconnect\u201d at the Fondazione Pistoletto
