Develop your skills in women’s pattern making and garment construction through an intensive course that teaches you how to create 2D patterns, prototypes, and finished garments, integrating different technical and creative approaches.
With a duration of 180 hours, the course is designed for those who want to learn the basic techniques for creating women’s garments, from model design to final garment construction. Through a practical and focused approach, you will acquire the essential skills to creatively and professionally handle the prototyping of different types of garments.
Acquisition of professional skills in women’s pattern making and garment construction, and development of women’s ready-to-wear garments, together with knowledge of the garment construction stages.
Introduction to pattern making, with an explanation of size charts and how to take measurements on the female body. Creation of basic patterns such as the pencil skirt and construction of templates in size 42.
Learning how to use the sewing machine, with finishing techniques and industrial construction of skirts and trousers. Development of pockets, closures, and tailoring details.
Design and semi-artisanal construction of a complete dress, including pattern selection and development and application of garment construction techniques.

The course is aimed at fashion students, aspiring designers, emerging pattern makers, and enthusiasts of women’s tailoring who want to gain practical skills in women’s pattern making and garment construction.
